January's Free Workshops
New Year, same sessions!
Hello there you lovely humans! What a delight it is to be writing to you from this new year.
To be honest, I’m not really one who gets super excited about New Years, which for a romantic like myself, is a bit surprising. But I’m also a bit of a rebel, which, let’s be honest, is part and parcel for a true romantic. The louder the world shouts for me to be a newer, better version of me, the more I find myself intentionally slowing down. Early to bed, book devouring, long walks in quiet forests or along empty beaches is my late 2024, early 2025 vibe.

I’ve not written resolutions in a few years, they give me the ick. I do love a list of opportunity though, so I took myself out for a coffee date, pulled out my pen, a fresh notebook where I scribbled down ‘Next for me:’ on the top of the first page. What flowed was a lovely reminder that I’m still the same me, who plans to continue on with so much of what filled my cup in 2024.
Of course I’ve got plenty of new ideas and plans to look forward to as well. What I like about the prompt ‘next for me’ is that it gives a nod to the life I’m living. It also feels free, open, malleable, joyful, celebratory and ready for an inevitable pivot. If that seems like your kind of approach, give it a go and let me know how it goes!
Another thing I tend to do around the December-January no-plans land is to increase the frequency at which I stop myself in the mirror, look unnervingly deeply into my eyes and say ‘You are an absolute f*cking delight!’.
Go on, give it a go, I’ll wait.
Did you giggle? Feel silly? I hope so. I hope you also felt the truth of it too.
OK, enough waffling about my feelings around the new year. New year or not, it is a new month, and that means I’ve got a fresh batch of free sessions to share with you!
Here is a quick note about where I host these sessions. All the sessions are free to attend, you’ll just need a free FLOWN account.
If you’re new here, hello! You’ll come to discover I’m a HUGE fan of FLOWN. It’s one of the most powerful tools in my productivity toolbox. It’s also one of the best little corners of the internet. Back in October I achieved a 2 year streak of showing up to sessions every week and hitting 2000 sessions over those 2 years. Those are some really big milestones for this neurodivergent who is quite allergic to consistency. And that consistency is a testament to the magic that is FLOWN, and the mission of Bespoke Brains.
Signing up for FLOWN using the links here will get you 20% your first month or first year if you fall in love with FLOWN as I did and want to access the full platform.
I will earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Feel free to go direct to FLOWN.com though, I’m more interested in folks finding their own magic with FLOWN than earning a commission. Also, definitley check out what my fellow FLOWNees love about the platform here on Trustpilot.

What I love about Amanda's straightforward approach is she is speaking from real life experience of overwhelm. She is living proof her methods work.
She is also totally relatable and lovely.

Hey, wanna play?
Something that’s next for me is more fun. More play. More silliness. More good trouble.
Enter The Really Very Silly Storytellers Guild. A session to write/create just for the fun of it.
I’m talking about the kind of stuff that makes your cheeks ache from smiling so much. I’ve hosted a few of these sessions already, and, well, mission accomplished! Genuine joy and plenty of giggles and delightfully silly stories/ideas/creations.
I’d love you to come along and play in the sandbox too. Write a fit of frivolous fiction, pen some preposterous prose, scratch out a senseless sketch, strum a silly tune. You can bring your own ideas or choose from prompts I'll share. Here is the silly prompt from the first session, and what I created during the session.

I want to make it very clear, this is for everyone. Not just ‘creative people’. This is play. Be like a kid and join in the fun just because.
Come along and join in the silliness with other silly seekers from around the world.
