Boo! I'm back! November Workshops
If you’re haunted by your terrifying tower of to-do’s this post is for you!
*dusts this space off sheepishly*
So, that was a really long beat. More likely, it didn’t even register because you’ve got your own big world happening all around you. It’s been *checks notes* 8 months since I sent out a missive from Bespoke Brain land. Much has changed in that time but what’s encouraging and empowering is that my own bespoke approach to getting sh*t done has kept me on task, on deadline and out of burn out despite the wobbles!
It’s why I’m excited to share that I’m back hosting my regular weekly Task Management sessions on FLOWN (+ a brand new session that just plain fun!). I’ll be hosting my Task Management 101 mini workshops monthly again as well. If you’ve never attended one of my workshops 101 is the place to start. Even if you’ve attended the 101 before, feel free to attend anytime. A re-fresh is always a good idea.
All sessions below are free to join, you’ll just need a free FLOWN account.
If you’re new here, I’m a HUGE fan of FLOWN. It’s one of the most powerful tools in my productivity toolbox. It’s also one of the best little corners of the internet. Just this week I celebrated a 2 year streak of showing up to sessions every week and hitting 2000 sessions over those 2 years. Those are some really big milestones for this neurodivergent who is quite allergic to consistency. And that consistency is a testament to the magic that is FLOWN, and the mission of Bespoke Brains.
Task Management for Bespoke Brains - Weekly
This is a 30 minute co-working session where I’ll lead you through the 6 steps to sort through your tasks, add new ones, do a capacity check and then make a plan to do the work. I’ll be managing my own tasks right along with you.
1. 🔎 Review your tasks
2. ➕ new tasks
3. 👀 Look ahead.
4. 📶 Compare project volume w/ capacity.
5. 📅 Plan to get it done.
6. Have space in your 🧠 again!

What I love about Amanda's straightforward approach is she is speaking from real life experience of overwhelm. She is living proof her methods work.
She is also totally relatable and lovely.

Hey, wanna play?
I’ve got a new session I’ve just started hosting and this one is all about good silly fun!
On a recent trip to bonnie Scotland I played a round of mini put golf at the historic St. Andrew’s Himalayas. My playing partner is quite jovial, competitive and far more experienced with the humble putting iron than I but vacation me is up for just about anything it was gloriously joyous! It reminded me I use to be a lot more fun. More competitive. More jovial. I wanted it back!
I returned home and set out to find more of that here and, it turns out, I found it on the pickleball court. Yes, I’ve joined the pickleball cult and officially entered my sporty spice era at 42.
I also have goals to get back to writing, but I’m all in my head about it. This last year has been a lot of journalling, therapy-type writing, if-something-happens-to-me-please-burn-these-pages kinda stuff. Basically, not pretty and definitely not fun. The antidote: silliness.
Enter The Really Very Silly Storytellers Guild. A session to write/create just for the fun of it.
I’m talking about the kind of stuff that makes your cheeks ache from smiling so much. I hosted the first session last week and, well, mission accomplished! Genuine joy and plenty of giggles and delightfully silly stories/ideas/creations.
I’d love you to come along and play in the sandbox too. Write a fit of frivolous fiction, pen some preposterous prose, scratch out a senseless sketch. You can bring your own ideas or choose from prompts I'll share. Here is last weeks prompt and what I created during the session.

I want to make it very clear, this is for everyone. Not just ‘creative people’. This is play. I’m not a ‘golfer’ but that game of mini putt remains a highlight. I’m not ‘sporty’ but I love playing pickleball. Be like a kid and join in the fun just because.
Come along and join in the silliness with other silly seekers from around the world.
